Pre-milled pigment is then added to the mixture and dispersed with a high shear mixer to create a uniform product. Strong centrifugal fluid forces and velocities generated by high-speed rotation of the specially designed mix head, rapidly disperses and homogenizes the materials.
Cooling
The mixture is cooled slightly before fragrances, preservatives, and other ingredients are added.
Filling
The slightly cooled mixture is poured into lipstick molds – filling the molds - then cooled even further to solidify.
