Hi
I’m trying to find something to use OTHER than fire brick, under my little butane torch. I have a large concrete block-one of the thin solid ones, like a paver-but wanted to know if I should use something more fire/cracking resistant? This is for metal design/silver smithing, btw.
The concrete paver/block is heavy as heck, and since its one I salvaged, I’m worried it might be contamunated besides.
I can’t find anyplace locally that sells fire brick.
