The twill weave is divided into left twill and right twill according to the different oblique lines.

Left diagonal: It slopes from the upper left to the lower right.

Right diagonal: It slopes from the upper right to the lower left.

Twill weave is divided into single-sided twill and double-sided twill according to the different ups and downs of warp and weft points.

Single-sided twill:

①The number of warp and weft weaves on the front and back sides are different.

②The latitude and longitude organization points are the same and the order of ups and downs is different.

Double-sided twill: The organization point and the ups and downs of the front and back sides are the same, but the oblique direction is different.

Single-sided twill is divided into warp twill and weft twill

2 Features of twill weave

The twill weave has a difference between the front and back of the fabric. Because the twill weave has floating long lines, the surface of the fabric is brighter than the plain weave. Because of the difference in warp and weft floating lengths, the external force is affected by the yarn of a certain system. The external force is larger than that of the other system, so the strength is lower and the hand feel is softer.

The front and back of the single-sided twill have different appearance effects. The obverse side has obvious diagonal lines, while the reverse side is more obscure; the double-sided diagonal lines have the same appearance effect on the front and back sides, but have diagonally opposite lines.

3 Features of Twill Fabric

Warp and weft yarns are interlaced less frequently than plain weave, so that the space between warp and weft yarns is smaller, and the yarns can be arranged tightly, so that the fabric is denser, thicker, better luster, softer, and more elastic than plain weave. Under the same conditions of yarn density and thickness, its abrasion resistance and fastness are not as good as plain weave fabrics.

Twill weave fabrics are softer, thicker, and brighter than plain weave fabrics.

Under the condition of the same weaving density and yarn fineness, the fastness is not as good as plain weave fabric.

The twill lines on the surface of the twill weave fabric can be clear and obvious or full and prominent, uniform and straight according to the ratio of twist direction and warp and weft density. Our company also has Work Wear Fabric on sale, welcome to contact us.
